Surfers Paradise!
The Brouwersdam is the seventh construction of the Deltawerken. The 6500-meter dam is the connecting road between Schouwen-Duiveland and Goeree Overflakkee. After it was constructed, the Grevelingenmeer formed.
When you drive across the dam now, you see the North Sea on one side and the Grevelingenmeer on the other side. Many types of water sports are practiced on both sides. You'll also find various restaurants and beach pavilions.
At the Brouwersdam festivals like Concert @ Sea and Beachboom are organized as well. These attract many visitors each year.
